I am having a hard time coming up with things to write about in my blog. I dont think people care to hear about my mundane daily excursions....and then I remember that I am just as interesting as any Hollywood actress people may google on a daily bases (or atleast I think I am... let me have my moment, will ya!?).
Today I have decided to make a list. 'Things I Learned In 2010'.
Here it goes....
1. Planning a wedding isn't nearly as stressfull as some would have you believe. The trick is (this is a big seecret, so pay close attention) to marry for love... real, raw, true, God sent love. The person you simply can't do without. The person who may not be perfect, but is perfect for you.
2. Having your 29th birthday fall on Super Bowl Sunday can either be exciting or depressing. For me, it was the latter. I despise football and celebrating my last year in the 20's on that particular day is not my idea of a good time! Matt tried to make me feel better by stating that "People all over the country will be celebrating on my birthday!".... I still don't know how that was supposed to make me feel better. He better have big plans for my 30th.... thats all I'm saying.
3. Bringing your lunch to work on a daily bases makes the $40.00 you took out of the ATM at the beginning of the work week last a lot longer than you'd think... although, trying to predict what you are going to want to eat for lunch 12-24 hours in advance is not an easy feat.
4. My mother is my best friend. She is truly my biggest fan and I simply do not know what I would do without her.
5. Both of my brothers are a huge blessing to me.... I dont know if they know that. I should call them both tonight and tell them....
6. My cousin Anna is the sister I never had.
7. Being able to go home to Matt every night is my favorite part of the day.
8. I am ready to be a mom.... seriously God... any day now!
9. I am more successful in my career than I ever dreamed I would be. This is because, seven years ago, someone believed in me and saw potential in me. I am grateful for this person... though I won't admit it for fear that his head might explode.
10. Dolphins are way cooler than you think.
11. Sometimes I wish I was a kid in the 50's. I would have wanted to be a boy though... they seemed to have way more fun.
12. And finally, the best way to get back at someone who has done you wrong is to pray for them.
Goodbye, 2010!
:)
See! You can do this! That was a great post. :)
